Investing
The world’s integrating social capital market is becoming a key theater of the rising sustainable capitalism: large unmet needs at the base of the pyramid in emerging economies, disadvantaged communities in industrialized countries, and governments reducing public goods funding meet an increasing number of social businesses and rising investor demand for social impact and financial returns, beyond microfinance.
We identify and, where necessary, incubate differentiated investment solutions to meet investment and social impact objectives of high net worth investors and family offices. We pursue transformational social impact through responsible microfinance, direct investments in social enterprises, or a combination thereof, paired with return, liquidity, de-correlation, and volatility objectives.
The company founder conceived and developed the pioneer philanthropic and social finance platform for a major global bank, which was recognized as the industry benchmark by Euromoney. Members of our senior team structured, executed and syndicated major structured trade finance transactions worldwide for a leading global natural resources company; orchestrated the company’s innovative global asset securitization transactions and were responsible for a portfolio of well over USD one billion in loans and other securities to the company’s emerging market clients; and have been in the lead of sourcing, due diligence, structuring, execution and monitoring of over one hundred secondary and direct investment deals with a total transaction amount of approximately USD three billion globally.
