Changing social capital markets, for us, means providing solutions for individuals and organizations to master the transition to the emerging sustainable capitalism.
Our mission is to enable organizations and individuals to position themselves vis-à-vis the historical trend, and deliver on it.
Our Approach
We take a holistic approach to helping our clients identify opportunities and master the transition to the paradigm of sustainability capitalism, or impact economy.
Research and education provide the basis for insight and implementation. We conduct qualitative and quantitative applied research on corporate responsibility, philanthropy, social capital markets and investments. Assignments are conducted to provide an empirical basis for client strategy formulation and decisions. When made public, our research can also influence debates on a wider scale, as in the case of the 2011 paper “Four Revolutions in Global Philanthropy.” Reviewed in the Huffington Post and circulated by the US Council on Foundations to its community foundation members, it sparked new discussions about where philanthropy is headed.
Our strategy advisory practice develops and designs concrete solutions for corporate, foundation and individual clients, usually around positioning and strategy challenges. We also identify and incubate high-impact high-efficiency opportunities for collaborative social change.
Moreover, we identify differentiated investment solutions to meet investment and social impact objectives of high net worth investors and family offices, namely transformational social impact achieved through responsible microfinance, direct investments in social enterprises, or a combination thereof, and as a function of return, liquidity, correlation, and volatility objectives.
