Our Mission

Changing social capital markets, for us, means providing solutions for individuals and organizations to master the transition to the emerging sustainable capitalism.

We define impact economy as the landscape of market mechanisms, entrepreneurial methods and institutional incentives providing goods and services to, or using and enabling the productive capabilities of poor or otherwise disadvantaged sections of the population, thereby making an important contribution to wider social transformation and sustainability objectives. Historically, business has been an unparalleled mechanism for meeting human needs, creating jobs, improving efficiency, and building new social realities.

Over the past decades, the concepts of business have also transformed what was traditionally the non-market space; civil society and philanthropy are now undergoing their own “market revolution”. Stakeholders increasingly expect the social sector to become more effective at dealing with large-scale practical challenges, such as several billion people around the world without toilets, access to electricity, or even shoes. Just as creating social and economic value shapes ambitions and projects in the social sector, the concept of social value is also transforming the business sector.

Stakeholders want “value with values”: a new economic paradigm of sustainability capitalism based on convergence of the sectors is in the making. Our mission is to enable organizations and individuals to position themselves vis-à-vis the historical trend, and deliver on it.
