Impact Economy travels to Slovenia

BLED - Impact Economy served as the content partner to the “Eastern European Corporate Responsibility and Philanthropy Conference”, co-designing the program and contributing directly to several sessions. The event was held at the IEDC Bled School of Management in Bled, Slovenia, on May 16-17, 2011.

With lead organizer Sandi Češko, Founder and CEO of Studio Moderna, the leading multi-channel e-commerce and direct-to-consumer platform in Central & Eastern Europe, building on a vertically-integrated network reaching more than 400 million consumers across 21 countries, and held with the special participation of the Clinton Global Initiative (USA), the meeting convened a group of 100 Eastern European business leaders, impact investors, philanthropists and (social) entrepreneurs to share their best practices.

Dr. Danilo Türk, President of the Republic of Slovenia and former UN Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs, was amongst the special guest at the conference.
